Get the guidance you need

From technical questions to clinical onboarding, we've got you covered.

We're redefining orthopedic surgery with PAIR, our Augmented Intelligent Reality system that projects 3D anatomy and surgical plans directly into the surgeon's view. Designed for precision, efficiency, and adaptability, PAIR brings real-time visualization and guidance to the operating room.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does the Provision Surgical AR system do?

We're developing an augmented reality platform that brings preoperative imaging and surgical planning directly into the surgeon's view during procedures. It enables enhanced visualization, precision, and real-time guidance to improve accuracy and confidence at every step.

Why start with orthopedic surgery?

Orthopedics presents some of the most demanding alignment and precision challenges. Joint replacement requires exact implant positioning for long-term outcomes. By starting here, we focus on immediate clinical value where visualization and accuracy make a measurable difference.

What are the expected benefits of your system?

Our system aims to improve surgical precision, reduce cognitive load, shorten operative time, and support better patient outcomes. Early evaluations suggest faster adjustments and more consistent implant alignment compared to standard methods.

How does this compare to existing tools?

Traditional navigation systems can be bulky, costly, and disruptive. Our solution is designed to offer comparable accuracy in a lightweight, cost-effective format that integrates easily into existing workflows.

Will this require significant changes to current surgical workflows?

No major changes are needed. The system is designed to complement standard techniques and integrate smoothly, minimizing the learning curve while enhancing intraoperative visualization.

Has Provision Surgical received FDA clearance yet?

Not yet. The FDA has reviewed our test plan for accuracy, reliability, and safety, and we are completing verification and validation testing ahead of submitting our 510(k) application.

Can it be used for education and training?

Yes. The same AR visualization used in surgery supports surgical training by projecting anatomy and procedural steps in 3D, helping learners build spatial awareness and precision in realistic, hands-on environments. See Provision Academy.

What does this milestone mean for hospitals and surgeons?

It confirms our regulatory pathway is progressing as planned. Hospitals and surgeons can be confident that the system is undergoing rigorous testing for accuracy, reliability, and safety before clinical use.
